Abstract
Developing radio practice by uniting communication with the pleasure of presenting the first Portuguese language program in the Andalusian capital is a project which finally saw its birth in the support of Radio Olavide, from the Pablo de Olavide University, in Seville (Spain). It aims at promoting a cultural and linguistic exchange which brings the university community and the public closer to the vast world covered by the Portuguese language (PL), the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries) and the linguistic, cultural, artistic, and musical environment in which PL is immersed. This paper draws on an action-research supported by some theoretical models underlying this Project, namely those based on the studies by Carrió-Pastor (2016) and Cook (2008) on the implementation of technology and interlocutors’ acquaintance and development of communicative skills in a second language learning context (Oliveira 2016, Sevilla-Pavón 2015) bearing in mind the PL pluricentric and internationalization scopes.
