Print edition
Articles published in the print edition of The Journal of Linguistic and Intercultural Education (JoLIE) are protected by copyright.
Reproduction, storage, or transmission of the print version or its contents, in whole or in part, is permitted only in accordance with applicable copyright law and with the permission of the copyright holder(s), unless otherwise stated.
Online edition
The availability of an article in the online edition does not automatically imply open access. Only articles explicitly designated as open access are considered open-access publications.
Open-access articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Licensing conditions for online articles are specified separately under the Open Access Policy and are indicated at article level.
Articles not explicitly designated as open access remain subject to the applicable copyright conditions.
Permissions and third-party material
Contributors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce any material for which they do not hold copyright (including figures, tables, images, and extended quotations), for use in both print and electronic media, and for ensuring that all required acknowledgements are included in the manuscript.
Author declarations
Authors of accepted papers are required to complete and sign the journal’s copyright and author declaration form, confirming:

the originality of the work,

compliance with the journal’s publication ethics and research-integrity requirements,

exclusive submission to JoLIE, and
-
responsibility for obtaining permissions and providing appropriate acknowledgements,

transparent disclosure of the use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools, where applicable, in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
